Haryana Taekwondo team wins 7 medals in National Games

KARNAL: The team of Haryana Taekwondo won 7 medals in the National Games held in Visakhapatnam. Rishita Dang (17), a student of St Theresa Convent School Karnal, won Gold Medal under 63 Kg.
Besides, Aditi, Bharti, Nidhi and Tanisha won Bronze Medals in the girl’s category. Similarly, Ravi won Gold Medal and Vasu won Bronze Medal in the boy’s category.
The 39th Juniors National Kyorugi and 12th Junior National Pumse Taekwondo Championship 2022-2023 was held by Taekwondo Federation of India from 3rd to 5th Feb., 2023.
A total of 650 boys and girls representing 32 States participated in the National Championship.
Jagdeep Singh, team coach, said that It is a matter of pride that the Haryana Taekwondo team won seven medals in the national games.
